50/50 Raffle Tickets
Do you have the Golden Ticket? The famous CHRIE FutureFund™ 50/50 Raffle returns for another year of luck and chance during the 2010 ICHRIE Conference in San Juan, Puerto Rico USA. If your ticket is drawn you win half of the total pot and the rest goes to benefit the CHRIE FutureFund™. CHRIE FutureFund™ Committee members will be selling the US$1 tickets throughout the conference. The drawing will be held on Friday evening, 30 July 2010 at the ICHRIE Awards Gala.

Silent Auction
The successful CHRIE FutureFund™ Silent Auction returns to the ICHRIE Marketplace in July 2010. Don’t miss out on the opportunity to bid on fabulous products and services donated by association members and sponsors. Bidding on these terrific prizes begins at the Marketplace Opening Reception on Wednesday evening and continues through the Marketplace Luncheon on Thursday. Make plans now to stop by the ICHRIE Marketplace and place your bid on several auction items before they’re “going, going, going…Gone!”

Donation of Items
We are looking for items to be donated towards the silent auction. A few ideas for donations are: a bottle of wine, a state food basket, your institution’s monogrammed clothing. Products can be sent directly to San Juan, Puerto Rico USA. Your contributions are tax-deductible for U.S. Federal income tax purposes to the extent provided by law, and you will receive written confirmation of your contribution. Some suggested items include:

• Logo sportswear and merchandise from school bookstores or corporations
• Regional Food items or gift baskets–cheeses, jams, jellies, sauces, steaks, lobsters
• Dining gift certificates from regional restaurants or national/international chains
• Free room nights from regional or national/international hotel and resort chains
• Airline tickets
• Cruises
• Shared experiences–chef for a day, hotelier for a day, teacher for a day
• Themed-baskets filled with movies, books, software, garden tools, golf balls, bath & body, kitchen gadgets, etc.
