Job Description: Full-time Wine Marketing faculty position for a professional in the wine industry to teach courses as part of our expanding wine marketing and hospitality degree programs. Teaching load includes 15 credits per semester, which may be day, evening, and online. Courses include brand development and distribution, viticulture & enology, food pairing, beverage management and safe alcohol service. The successful candidate will collaborate with colleagues to develop and update course curricula. Activities will also include wine marketing leadership, developing and maintaining hospitality and wine industry relationships. Leadership with globally focused programming includes study abroad partnerships. Additional responsibilities include promoting the Wine Marketing degree, course supply inventory & ordering and course fee management, student recruitment, academic advisement and participation in college committees and community organizations, and other duties assigned by the Provost/Vice President of the College.

Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 5 years wine industry experience required. Master’s degree in the field of Wine Marketing, Viticulture and Enology, Business Administration, Marketing or Hospitality Management preferred. Experience teaching at the college level or extensive teaching/training of adult audiences. Knowledge of New York State beverage industry is highly desirable. Wine industry skills/knowledge should include social network branding, strong industry networking, wine event coordination, international wine regions and business practices. Experience working in a multicultural setting with a diverse student population is highly desirable. Valid driver’s license and ability to travel internationally.

Expected Hiring Salary Range: $39,585 - $49,483 - Starting salary and level of appointment will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. Note: Hiring salary range may be adjusted pending the outcome of contract negotiations.
