Role of the Position
Seeking applicants for a full-time nine-month tenured professor position with expertise in hospitality or tourism commencing August 2014. Responsibilities include: active engagement in a research program in hospitality, marketing, or tourism leading to high quality scholarly publications, securing external research grants, and mentoring graduate students as dissertation/thesis chair/committee member; teaching undergraduate and graduate classes; and serving on various College and University committees; involvement in professional, community, and industry roles. We are interested in candidates who will bring excellence to campus via outstanding research, teaching, and service.

Qualifications
Qualifications include an earned doctorate in any of the following: hospitality, marketing, tourism or a related field from a regionally accredited college of university with evidence of a substantial scholarly research record indicated by publication in top-tier journals, established grant activity, engagement in professional presentations, organizations, and appointment on journal editorial boards. Excellence in teaching and a demonstrated strong interest in the hospitality industry preferred.

Salary Range
Salary competitive with those at similarly situated institutions. Position is contingent on funding.
