Minimum Qualifications: (1) an earned doctoral degree at the time of appointment with at least one degree in Hospitality or Tourism Management or related field; (2) experience in teaching and service at the university level; (3) experience in managing food and beverage educational laboratories
Preferred Qualifications: Management experience in food service or catering industry; Salary is commensurate with experience and qualifications.
Responsibilities: Develop and instruct undergraduate courses in restaurant food services and related fields. Participate in university, college and department committees; maintain liaisons with appropriate professional groups and industry partners. This is a 12-month position which will include duties managing the food and beverage educational laboratories and food service and catering operations. The incumbent will spend 66% of his/her time managing the laboratories and their staff and 34% of the time teaching. Internal title: Associate Director, Food and Beverage Laboratories.
