Instructor or Lecturer, 9 Month, Full Time, Multi Year Position

Minimum Qualifications: An earned master’s degree from an accredited institution by the start of the appointment period, with at least one degree in Hospitality or Tourism Management or related field. Experience in teaching at the university level; teaching online in a web-based mode or blended delivery format.

Preferred Qualifications: A doctoral degree from an accredited institution by the start of the appointment period, with at least one degree in Hospitality or Tourism Management or related field. Management experience in the hospitality and tourism industry.

Responsibilities: Develop and instruct various courses at the undergraduate and master’s level in the Hospitality Management Bachelor of Science degree program and Masters of Hospitality Management program in one or more of the following hospitality/tourism specialized areas: introduction to hospitality/tourism; hospitality/tourism human resources; hospitality/tourism marketing; guest services; hospitality communications, hospitality strategic management and leadership. Participate in university, college and department committees; maintain liaisons with appropriate professional groups and industry partners.
