Positions for 9-Month, Full-Time, Tenure Track
Minimum Qualifications: (1) an earned doctoral degree at the time of appointment with at least one degree in Hospitality or Tourism Management or related field; (2) potential for research, teaching and service at the university level.
Preferred Qualifications: Management experience in hospitality industry or tourism; Salary is commensurate with experience and qualifications.
Responsibilities: Develop and instruct undergraduate and graduate courses in one or more of the following hospitality/tourism specialized areas: event management; lodging management; hospitality/tourism human resources; hospitality/tourism marketing; guest services, hospitality accounting; hospitality finance; hospitality strategic management; and restaurant food services. Participate in university, college and department committees; maintain liaisons with appropriate professional groups and industry partners; establish a strong research program and actively publish in appropriate journals.
