The Alfred Lerner College of Business and Economics at the University of Delaware invites applications for an Associate or Full Professor position in Hotel, Restaurant, and Institutional Management (HRIM). Successful candidates will demonstrate the drive and vision to maintain an innovative, cutting-edge, and internationally recognized research program in the field of lodging management. In addition, candidates must be committed to excellence in teaching at the graduate and undergraduate levels. We are seeking individuals who dare to be first.

Applicants should have an interest and expertise in one or more of the following areas: data analytics, revenue management, information technology, and real estate transaction analysis. Applicants must also hold a doctorate in the hospitality and tourism field or related area, do research that applies data analytics to the hospitality industry, and teach courses in hospitality business management at the undergraduate and graduate level. We are looking for an individual who has the skills to conduct high-quality applied research and the desire to prepare future leaders for the global hospitality industry. The Department of HRIM recently celebrated 25 years of innovation in hospitality education. HRIM has two undergraduate majors, Hotel, Restaurant and Institutional Management and Hospitality Industry Studies, and a Master’s degree in Hospitality Business Management. The HRIM program has been consistently ranked as a top program in hospitality and tourism management.
