Assistant / Associate Professor - School of Hospitality Leadership

Two (2) tenure-track assistant professor positions in the School of Hospitality Leadership beginning Fall 2014. The School of Hospitality Leadership at UW-Stout provides students with an expansive educational experience that prepares them for leadership and management opportunities in the fast-paced and cutting edge world of the HRTM (Hotel, Restaurant and Tourism Management), GEM (Golf Enterprise Management) and REPM (Real Estate Property Management). We are looking for two (2) multi-disciplinary teaching professionals who have expertise in one or more of the three degree programs within the School of Hospitality Leadership. One of the new faculty members will participate in development of a new undergraduate program, which will operate outside of the UW-Stout campus and will also require relocation after one year of appointment (refer to Job ID: 9637 for details).

Earned doctorate in a field related to or closely related to one of the degree programs is required for one position and a doctorate in progress is at a minimum required for the other position, in addition to two (2) years of full-time teaching experience at the undergraduate and/or graduate level and two (2) years of full-time industry related management experience in at least one (1) of the degree programs housed in the School of Hospitality Leadership. Five (5) years of full-time teaching at the undergraduate and/or graduate level; five (5) years of full-time industry related management experience in two (2) of the degree programs housed in the School of Hospitality Leadership; and experience teaching online and advising students is preferred.
