The School of Hospitality Leadership invites applications for a faculty tenure track position, with an emphasis in Lodging Management, to begin January 11, 2013. However an August 26, 2013 start date will be considered.

Required Qualifications:
*ABD in hospitality, business or related field with renewal of appointment contingent to the completion of doctorate degree.
*Minimum of five (5) years of lodging management experience, including two (2) years of teaching or training experience.

Prefereed Qualifications:
*Doctorate in hospitality, business or related field.
*Previous experience in higher education, including online instructional delivery, curriculum development and student advisement.

This position is for an academic year contract with instructional and administrative responsibilities, with potential additional summer employment. Instructional needs include undergraduate courses in the BS in Hospitality, Restaurant and Tourism Management, to include content in food and beverage management, finance and other topics related to the profitable operation of lodging properties, resorts and related businesses. Knowledge of state-of-the-art point of sale, reservation and marketing software is required. In addition to teaching, all UW-Stout faculty are expected to actively engage in research and professional service.

Department Information
The School of Hospitality Leadership enrolls more than 800 students in undergraduate programs in Hotel, Restaurant and Tourism Management; Golf Enterprise Management and Property Management. The School of Hospitality Leadership currently has 24 faculty and staff members.
