Faculty Position, Hospitality Services Management

The William F. Harrah College of Hotel Administration at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas invites applications for a full-time, 9-month, faculty position in Hospitality Services Management to begin Fall 2013.The primary job duty will be to teach undergraduate hospitality services management classes. The candidate may also teach other undergraduate and graduate hospitality classes related to the applicant’s education and experience. They will
be required to perform college, university, industry, and/or community service. Candidates applying at the Assistant Professor (tenure-track) rank must also conduct research that leads to publication in peer-reviewed journals.

This position requires a doctorate from an accredited college or university to be considered for the position at the Assistant Professor (tenure-track) rank OR a minimum of a Master’s degree from a regionally accredited college or university to be considered for the position at the Lecturer (non-tenure track) rank. It is preferred that at least one of the applicant’s degrees/majors should be in hospitality management. All applicants should have at least 5 years of significant management experience in a hospitality property.
