Hospitality Management: Bethune-Cookman University, School of Business seeks a tenure-track Assistant or Associate Professor of Hospitality Management to develop and teach courses in a growing undergraduate Hospitality Management program. Teaching schedules will include day, evening and online classes. Preference will be given to a candidate with a Doctorate or Master’s Degree in Hospitality Management together with a minimum of five years supervisory/management experience in the Hospitality Industry or Doctorate or Master’s Degree with a minimum of eighteen graduate credit hours in Hospitality Management and a minimum of five years supervisory/management experience in the Hospitality Industry. Expectations for the position include designing and teaching classes in Hospitality Management related subjects. Also required is a record of excellence in innovative teaching together with quality published/publishable research and service to the university/community.
Teaching load is 12 hours per semester. The Hospitality Management Program is accredited with ACPHA and the School of Business, within which the Hospitality Management Department is situated, is currently seeking accreditation from ACBSP.
