Role of the Position
This position involves teaching undergraduate and/or graduate-level courses in Strategic Management; interested candidates may be involved in executive education and professional certificate programs. Seeking applicants for a full-time nine-month tenure-track position in strategic management, commencing August 2018. Responsibilities include: active engagement in a research program, preferably in strategic management related, leading to top-tier scholarly publications, securing research grants, and mentoring graduate students as dissertation/thesis chair/committee member, and serving on Department, College and University committees; involvement in professional, community, and industry roles.

This position requires an earned doctorate in hospitality, business, or related field from a regionally accredited college or university with evidence of scholarly research and publications preferably in strategic management. Based on qualifications, the successful applicant will be hired either with tenure or on tenure track. Requirements of the position include conducting significant research leading to high-quality refereed publications and performing service activities for the department, school, university and profession.  The ideal candidate will have experience in hospitality, business or related industries.

Salary Range
Salary competitive with those at similarly situated institutions.  Position is contingent upon funding.
