Assistant / Associate Professor Faculty Position

Salary: Competitive, based on qualifications.
Ph.D. in Retailing, Hospitality Management, or closely related field. Applicants who are ABD may apply but must demonstrate that the degree will be awarded before September 1, 2019. Preference given to those with demonstrated ability to work with large data sets, data analytics, and work with category management related data. Highly desirable to have worked with both retailer and vendor data. Qualified individuals will demonstrate the ability to publish in leading academic journals, possess demonstrated teaching, research, and industry experience, and a willingness to seek external funding is desirable.
Teach category management related courses at the graduate and undergraduate levels, particularly data analytics and research. Establish a focused research program that can be supported through the acquisition of external funding; participate in program development; serve on departmental, college, and university committees. Advise graduate students to completion of their degrees and engage in undergraduate research activities. Actively provide outreach to the community and develop a strong record of community engagement.

Classes began in Fall 2018 and the first cohort of students will graduate in 2022! Opportunities to teach and travel to the campus are open to all faculty in the department.
