The Dedman School of Hospitality at Florida State University invites applications for a nine-month, full-time faculty position. This is a non-tenure track position with the academic rank of Instructor.

Qualifications: Required: earned doctorate in Hospitality Management or a related field from an accredited university. Preferred: Traditional and on-line teaching experience in hospitality management, prior significant hospitality industry management experience, excellent oral and written English communication skills, and successful classroom teaching performance.

Responsibilities: Develop and instruct undergraduate and graduate courses in hospitality and tourism management. An expertise in one or more of the following areas is recommended: conventions and events management, hotel/resort operations, destination and resort management, and hospitality sustainability. Advise students and provide service to the campus, community, and industry.  Support on-going program growth and development. This position does not require research or publications.

Compensation: Salary is commensurate with experience.
