Format of Presentation

Presentations can be in the format of a keynote speech or as part of a panel discussion, which would consist of multiple speakers related to a common topic.  Each presentation should be at least 20 minutes in length. The duration can be extended per individual request.  Presentations should contain a minimum of marketing material and ought to focus on the selected topic.  Presenters should relate their topic to academics, including how the information could help professors, identify possible research opportunities, and implications for the classroom.  You could also discuss how professors could help you or pinpoint opportunities to work together in the future. Presentations are conducted in English.  No translation is provided.

The ICHRIE conference provides an unparalleled opportunity for industry professionals to meet and engage top hospitality and tourism academic experts, as well as other industry professionals.  The academics represented at an ICHRIE conference include a broad range of leading researchers and educators from all over the world.  Additional benefits include networking opportunities, options to brainstorm on research-related collaboration and chances to obtain “outside the box” feedback.  There are also recruiting, career and talent related opportunities.
