ESD students and faculty gathered in Las Vegas for IMEX America 2025, one of the world’s largest meetings and events industry showcases! Students from ESD chapters across the U.S. came together to learn, connect, and experience the future of global hospitality.
Ahead of IMEX, ESD was welcomed by UNLV’s William F. Harrah College of Hospitality! Here the students received a warm welcome by David Cárdenas, Dean!

ESD Faculty Advisors visited UNLV, welcomed by Kim Williams, Associate Dean of Academic Programs, Faculty and Operations - ESD Faculty Advisors Dr. Yoshimasa “Nancy” Kageyama, Dr. Stacey Smith, Dr. Godwin Charles Ogbeide, and Dr. Andrew Yoon
This event was attended by students and faculty from UNLV, Fort Hays State University, Purdue University, Florida International University, Cal Poly Pomona, and Missouri State University.

Industry Panel included Amy Forss, Vice President of Delphi Sales Specialists from Amadeus, along with Nina Neville-A Series of Fortunate Events, Giovanna Paolella (Stockton University alumni), and Godwin-Charles Ogbeide and was moderated by Nancy Kageyama (left) and Stacey Smith (right).

ESD students, including those from Cal Poly Pomona, completed the MPI MICE certification, gaining valuable credentials in meetings and events management.
