Assistant Professor, Hospitality Marketing

The School of Hotel and Tourism Management under the CUHK Business School is now inviting applications for the position of Assistant Professor in Hospitality Marketing. Applications from qualified scholars with a focus in either mainstream marketing or a related field of hospitality will be considered. Individuals with research areas on Services Marketing, Service Technology and Service Innovation are especially encouraged to apply.

Applicants should be promising or established scholars with a PhD in mainstream marketing or in a related field of hospitality. The appointees will (a) teach a variety of basic and advanced-level marketing related hospitality courses at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels; (b) conduct high quality research and publish in both top tier marketing and hospitality journals; and (c) render services to advance the hospitality community in Hong Kong and Asia.

Appointment will initially be made on contract basis for up to three years commencing August or September 2022, which, subject to demonstration of the requisite level of performance and mutual agreement, may lead to a longer-term appointment or substantiation later.

The School of Hotel and Tourism Management is an integral part of the CUHK Business School. It was established in 1998. The vision of School is to become the most preferred school in Asia by offering top programmes for students pursuing managerial positions in hospitality, tourism, and real estate industries. Currently, the School offers BBA in Hospitality and Real Estate, MSc in Real Estate and MPhil-PhD in both hospitality and real estate streams.
