We are excited to announce LEVEL UP, an ICHRIE and Russell Partnership Technology Revenue Management Competition, an amazing opportunity for students to showcase their skills in a realistic hotel management simulation. Powered by Russell Partnership Technology’s industry-leading Revenue Management Simulation, this competition allows students from member institutions to step into the shoes of a Revenue Manager in a virtual 500-room hotel.
The Revenue Management Competition offers a unique platform for students to apply theoretical knowledge in a practical setting. As a participant, students will make critical decisions that impact the hotel’s financial performance, ranging from setting the right room rates to choosing the most effective Online Travel Agent (OTA) channels to allocating the marketing budget wisely. The end goals are to maximize profit, achieve the highest occupancy, optimize the Average Daily Rate (ADR), and build the best Revenue Per Available Room (RevPAR).
This competition is open to all students of ICHRIE member schools. Not only will students gain invaluable experience, but there are also amazing prizes for the top performers!
As the year comes to a close, it's the perfect moment to recognise and celebrate the incredible contributions of your colleagues. Starting December 1, 2024, nominations for the prestigious 2025 International CHRIE Awards will officially open. Let’s honour those who make a difference—perhaps even yourself!

During Future Fund Committee meetings held in fall 2022, co-chairs Misty Johansen and Carl Winston encouraged committee members to think bigger in terms of Future Fund impact.
