It aims to serve the needs of all levels of hospitality and tourism education through the presentation of issues and opinions pertinent to the field. JHTE is a refereed, premier educational journal of the International Council on Hotel, Restaurant, and Institutional Education (ICHRIE). JHTE Editors expect its continued growth in the future with the collective effort of JHTE editorial board members. The Journal of Hospitality & Tourism Education accepts the following types of articles: Original Articles, Research Notes. The journal regularly features:
Peer review policy: Taylor & Francis is committed to peer-review integrity and upholding the highest standards of review. All articles submitted to this journal undergo a “double-anonymous” peer review by one to three referees, one of which will be the editor or designate.
