Pre-Conference Session - SHARE Center Update
9:00-12:00, Wednesday morning
As we enter 2024, there are several new ways we are able to support universities: new data for research, online access to the global STR hotel database via the CoStar Suite (free subscriptions for professors and students), updated CHIA & CAHTA (hotel industry analytics) certifications, new CHIA recertification option, new revenue management and real estate certifications, new training programs (big data, branding & stakeholders, analyzing development data) and a new eLearning platform. The expanded session will also include a:
- Hotel Research Roundtable – to demonstrate research examples and brainstorm on research opportunities
- Demonstration of the Online Hotel database – live demo, including ideas for using in research or the classroom
- Review of Educational Resources – a look at samples, also hear from professors that are currently using them
Brief SHARE Update for Deans and Directors - Coffee with Steve

We will briefly introduce Deans, Directors, and Department Heads to new ways we are assisting schools and to upcoming changes we are making to the SHARE Center program.
