The Department of Hospitality Management within the Peter T. Paul College of Business and Economics at the University of New Hampshire invites applications for a tenure-track position at the Assistant Professor level beginning in fall 2023.

Applicants must have an earned doctorate in hospitality management, tourism, or in a closely related business field by August 2023, and should provide evidence of, or potential for, excellence in research, teaching, and service in a public research university setting. Preference will be given to those candidates with research and teaching interests such as hospitality and/or event management or a closely related area. Industry experience is also valued. The salary for the position is commensurate with AACSB norms. Paul College strives for excellence in diversity and candidates should demonstrate skill in working with diverse constituencies in the academic environment and an ability to cultivate external relations with community leaders, institutions, and stakeholders.

As part of the Peter T. Paul College of Business and Economics, the Department of Hospitality Management is the second oldest program in the U.S. and has a strong record of developing well-trained, industry-ready professionals. The Department is located in a state-of-the-art facility, equipped with a teaching kitchen lab and dedicated hospitality management classrooms. Our students participate in internships around the country and internationally with leading hotel, restaurant, gaming, and hospitality asset management companies. The Department carries a BS program in Hotel and Hospitality Management as well as a MBA specialization and graduate certificate focused on hotel management and analytics.

The Peter T. Paul College is an AACSB accredited business school in the state of New Hampshire with world-class academic programs in business administration, economics, and hospitality management. We have approximately 2,600 students in our undergraduate majors, several hundred undergraduate minors, and 400 students in graduate programs, including MBA (full-time, part-time, and online), MS Accounting, MS Finance, MS Business Analytics, and MA and Ph.D. in Economics.
